Sewa Bay

Using dugout canoes and spears the locals hunt crocodiles for their meat and their hide. You have to be careful though, in the last 12 months two young men were taken from Pwanapwana village. If you don't get it right first time with the spear then the aggressive saltwater crocodile is coming back to attack you.

The crocs are also happy to steal the occasional dog and pig from the village.

Locals came out to our boat with fruit and nuts to trade with our Russian boat crew.
