Sapeer Mayron is a reporter in Auckland.

Originally from Wellington, she studied journalism at Massey University and Whitireia Polytechnic, before moving to Samoa for three years to join the Samoa Observer. There she reported on everything from taro growing strategies to the measles epidemic of 2019. Now in Auckland she will be covering the south Auckland patch and Pasifika issues.
