Born in Christchurch and raised in Northern Ireland, Paul Cully has more than 20 years of experience as a reporter and editor.
Paul started his career as a commodities reporter in London, where he spent five years. He moved to Australia in the early 2000s and spent more than a decade working for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Sun-Herald, as a sub editor, sports editor and rugby columnist.
Paul moved back to New Zealand in 2013 and was the sports editor of the Sunday Star-Times before moving into a reporting role with Stuff. Paul previously lived in Hamilton, but is now based in Dunedin.
