Nikki Macdonald Senior writer

After 20 years as a journalist, Nikki Macdonald still has a passion for telling people's stories, shining a light on injustices and investigating complex issues.

She started her career at The Marlborough Express and worked as a health reporter and feature writer at The Dominion Post, before becoming a senior writer with Stuff. She has covered the Samoa tsunami, the Christchurch and Kaikōura earthquakes, and the Christchurch mosque attacks. She often covers health, science and the environment.
