Mandy Te is a Wellington-based reporter covering a range of topics, with a focus on social issues.

She began her journalism career in 2017 as a community reporter for Auckland's Central Leader and East & Bays Courier. In 2018 and for part of 2019, she worked as a breaking news reporter and covered local issues for Auckland's eastern bays area before moving to Wellington. She has also written for RNZ and The Otago Daily Times. In 2018, Mandy led a journalism workshop for young people of colour.
