Lucy Xia is a breaking news reporter working in Stuff’s Auckland bureau.

She started her career in journalism in 2021, after graduating from Auckland University of Technology with a postgraduate diploma in communications studies.

Before joining Stuff, Lucy worked as a community library assistant on the North Shore. She has also worked for non-profit organisations across China and New Zealand and has a keen interest in social issues and grassroots initiatives. She speaks Mandarin and the Shanghai dialect. Lucy是奥克兰办的华语记者.
