Born in Christchurch, she fell in love with Wellington when she moved to study first at Victoria, and then journalism at Massey. Her journalism career began on the Dominion Post's Capital Day page with arts, culture, and local issues. Now she's living up to her surname in the environment round, taking every opportunity to get out into nature.
