Henry Cooke is Stuff's chief political reporter, based in Parliament's press gallery in Wellington.

He has been covering politics since 2017 and working as a full-time reporter since 2015. He has a particular interest in stories on housing, climate change, education, and the public service. As well as New Zealand politics, Henry has covered the United Nations in New York, the 2018 midterm elections across the United States, and Covid-19 from his bedroom.
