Glenn McConnell is a political reporter, specialising in coverage of te ao Māori for Stuff’s Pou Tiaki team. He has whakapapa to Te Ātiawa and Ngāti Tama.

He has worked as a Stuff journalist since 2016, as a feature writer, columnist, critic and general reporter. As well as writing for local publications, he has also been published in the UK Guardian and Sydney Morning Herald. He produced and presented the award-winning podcast He’ll Be Right, and the docu-series Tribal: Inside NZ’s Wildest Music Scenes.
