Dana Johannsen is part of Stuff's national correspondents team, based in Auckland.

Believing the intersection of news and sport is fertile ground for reporting, Dana has a particular interest in sports governance, athlete welfare and integrity issues. Dana's journalism has earned her more than 15 national media awards, including Sports Journalist of the Year at four of the past five Voyager Media Awards (previously Canon). Prior to joining Stuff in 2018, Dana worked as a sports reporter for the NZ Herald for a decade, and has also worked in radio and television.
