Cécile Meier Senior journalist

Cécile Meier started her journalism career at Stuff when she moved to Christchurch from Switzerland in 2013.

Armed with law and journalism degrees and a knack for connecting with people after teaching French as a second language, she started out as a business reporter at The Press. She moved on to cover the aftermath of the 2010 and 2011 Canterbury earthquakes, before joining the health team with a focus on mental health. After a stint with Stuff's Life & Style team, writing magazine features and opinion pieces, she is back on the health round. Cécile grew up in France.
