Catrin Owen is a senior journalist based at Stuff's Auckland's office, covering courts, crime and justice.

Born in Wales, she moved to New Zealand 10 years ago. After graduating in 2014, Catrin wrote for Idealog magazine, Retail NZ and Remix Magazine. She started working for Stuff in 2015 at Auckland’s central suburban newspapers as a health and council reporter. Catrin is a regular contributor on BBC Radio Cymru (Wales’ Welsh-speaking radio station).
