The earth’s atmosphere has more carbon in it than at any point in more than three million years. The amount of carbon in the atmosphere is directly correlated with the average temperature.That is why we are living through a climate change crisis.

In Stuff’s latest NowNext survey, we wanted to hear from you about how much climate change is affecting your everyday decisions. More than 10,000 of you answered, of all ages, from around the country.

You told us climate change is impacting how you view real estate, and for some, shaping their opinion when it comes to voting in general or local elections.

Environmental issues are also influencing the way many of you are choosing food or drink products, and how you pick your Kiwisaver fund.
